A 15 *Miss Bell, a chestnut, was imported as a 3 year old in 1753 and considered the best filly of her day. Her sire was Bolton Starling. The only filly to fulfill the criteria of date, color, unnamed and lack of breeding record in the GSB is a filly from Cade mare 1747 – Wood’s Counsellor mare (sister to Thunderbolt) bred x Mr Routh . The Cade mare foaled an undated chestnut Starling filly owned by Mr Leedes, making *Miss Bell a member of Family 19.
